New ways to investigate cardiovascular disease

Seminar Date: June 9, 2021 Theme:Cardiovascular Disease

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a global health burden and a leading cause of mortality and a major contributor to disability in the UK and worldwide. Within the AHSC, we are exploring new ways to better understand what causes CVD and how we can improve the treatments available and therefore patient outcomes. In this seminar two experts talked about their research using big data and computational approaches to understand what is happening at the organ level and also within the population.
